The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has notified the recruitment of various apprentices at its refineries in Guwahati, Barauni, Gujarat, Haldia, Mathura, PRPC, Panipat Digboi, Bongaigaon and Paradip. Up to 1968 vacant seats were announced for several trades apprentices and technicians. The application window was activated on October 22 and will remain open until November 12.
Applications for the hiring of trades apprentices at IOCL are available on the official portal – iocl.com. Suitable candidates with relevant educational qualifications will be engaged in various technical and non-technical occupations.

Recruitment of IOCL 2021 sales apprentices: eligibility criteria
Educational Diploma: Applicants must hold a three-year degree in the relevant field from any recognized institute.
For trades (accountant) apprentices, applicants must have obtained a full-time graduate degree in commerce from a government. recognized institute / college whereas for trades apprentices (data entry operator), a class 12 pass with holder of the certificate of competence in “domestic data entry operator” may apply.
2021 IOCL Apprentice Recruitment: How to Apply
Step 1: Visit the official IOCL portal
Step 2: By clicking on the corresponding link, you will be taken to a new web page where you will need to register.
Step 3: Enter the basic information such as name, cell phone number and email id and create a password for subsequent logins.
Step 4: When finished, save the registration number sent to the registered messaging / SMS ID for future reference / use
Step 5: Log back into the portal and open the IOCL Trades Apprentice Request Form
Step 6: Fill in the remaining details, upload the required documents and submit
Step 7: Keep a copy of the completed application form for future use.
Recruitment of 2021 IOCL apprentices: selection process
The selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination and the written test (lasting two hours) conducted by IOCL. The written test will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQ) consisting of four options with one correct option. Applicants will need to achieve a minimum of 40 percent of written test scores to qualify the selection process.
